General information

This website is a project and build-in-public site of the AshaCore project. When using the website, personal data is only processed insofar as this is necessary for the technical provision, security and stability of the website.

Hosting and server log files

This website runs on a self-managed server. When the website is accessed, the web server automatically processes technical access data. This may include in particular:

IP address
date and time of access
page accessed
referrer URL
browser used
operating system used
amount of data transferred
HTTP status code

Processing serves the technical provision of the website, ensuring stability and security as well as error analysis.

The web server writes this access data to an access log. It writes technical errors that occur while delivering a page to an error log; an entry there may contain the IP address, the requested address and the referrer URL. The web server passes both logs to the logging of the container environment on our server; the website does not create log files of its own. The server logs contain the IP address, time, request, HTTP status code, user agent and referrer URL and serve operation and error analysis. They are stored for no more than 7 days and then deleted automatically. Daily server backups may contain this data for up to 7 additional days; the backups are then overwritten automatically. These server log files are separate from the anonymous daily figures of the page view counter (see below).

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The legitimate interest lies in the secure, stable and reliable operation of this website.

Cookies and comparable technologies

This website currently uses no cookies, no external analytics or tracking services and no comparable technologies such as local storage, session storage or tracking pixels for marketing or analytics purposes.

No consent-requiring processing for analytics, marketing or tracking purposes currently takes place. For that reason no cookie banner is used.

Should technically necessary cookies or comparable technologies be used in the future, this will happen exclusively insofar as it is required for the operation of the website or to provide expressly requested functions.

Page view counter

We count how often the pages of this website are viewed and store only the number of views per day. Counting takes place on our server when the page is delivered. No cookies are set, no information is stored on or read from your device, and no profiles are created. The counter receives no IP addresses or other information about you or your device. To the extent personal data is affected by counting, this is based on our legitimate interest in a simple reach figure (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Only aggregated daily figures without any personal reference are stored. They are kept for as long as the website is operated. The page request itself is recorded in the web server's access log like any other access; the section "Hosting and server log files" applies to it.

External services

When the pages are loaded, this website currently embeds no external fonts, no external analytics tools, no advertising networks and no embedded third-party content.

Getting in touch

If contact is made by email, the information provided is processed exclusively to handle the enquiry. The contact form of this website merely opens a pre-filled email draft in the user's mail program; no server-side sending takes place via this website.

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. If the enquiry is aimed at concluding or preparing a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR is an additional legal basis.

Storage duration

Personal data is only stored for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations.
